If you're not using it, why not? Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly, please. I'm considering doing this, but don't know if I've got the friends base to make it worthwhile.
Thanks.:)
I never knew she was a real person...
Sep. 28th, 2009 05:14 pmLupus is a bitch.
I never knew that song was named after a real person, or that she was just a child at the time it was written.

Jul. 2nd, 2006 11:35 pmInspired by
kaleidoscopeeye and her wonderful quotes tonight:
Your hopes, dreams and aspirations are legitimate. They are trying to take you airborne, above the clouds, above the storms, if you only let them.
-- William James.
There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow.
-- Orison Marden.
Hope is passion for what is possible.
-- Soren Kierkegaard.
Lookie, lookie
Jun. 23rd, 2006 04:20 pmLook what I found in the very back corner of my yard...
They were trying really hard to get back under my neighbor's shed, where I think Mama was waiting. I helped one of them over the fence, after grabbing it with a towel. He did not like the idea of being helped, and tried to hiss, growl and bite at me. Cutest darn things I've seen in a long time.
Spring storm
May. 21st, 2006 07:55 pm
Right after taking this photo, I dodged out to pull back the roses so they wouldn't be ruined. Then the rain mixed in...

and soon became too much for my gutters...

The wind died down immediately after, so it was safe to turn my computer back on. I do have a surge protector, but always turn off the computer during big thunder storms.

May. 14th, 2006 07:40 amI took pictures, but haven't edited them yet, so they're still in the camera. I'll take more today of the chipping. It'll be easier to load the stuff into the truck, and more of it will fit when it's in tiny, bite-sized chunks.
It's supposed to be about 80 degrees today, and 91 tomorrow, so we need to get a move on. Have a great Sunday, everyone. Do what makes you happy.:)
