The Snow Advisory is now in effect until 4 am PST Friday.
Mixed rain and snow showers will continue to move across the
region tonight with the snow level lowering to near the valley
floor overnight. Up to 4 inches above 500 feet with areas of 1 to
2 inches below. Little accumulation is expected near the
Willamette and Columbia rivers. Main threat of snow will be after
10 PM as the air mass once again cools.
Another concern tonight will be the chilly temperatures. Skies
will become partly cloudy at times... allow the temperature to drop
to near freezing. Slush or water on bridges... high spots and
walkways may freeze... creating icy spots.
A Snow Advisory means that periods of snow will cause primarily
travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and
limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
